[If only my mother knew of my wee thing for large, Middle Eastern men, she'd probably have a stroke. The abundance of Irish Catholics in my love life has been enough for her already.]
At any rate, it was an absolutely lovely, relatively unplanned and therefore completely relaxing evening. I think tonight, for the first time, I felt like I could really do this Real Life thing, just so long as I have friends like Anna to take me out and effortlessly cause me to forget whatever it was that might have been gnawing at the back (or the front) of my mind. The rest of you are fantastic, too. I'm lucky that I rarely if ever need reminders of this fact, but it's nice that I get them every so often anyway.
I should probably go to sleep, as I have the big publishing interview tomorrow afternoon, and in the move seem to have forgotten to pack knee-highs to go with my power suit. Apparently the only thing this neighborhood is lacking is a Duane Reade between the apartment and the ACE stop. Eh, small potatoes. Wish me luck!
Life, she is good. Yes she is.

But man, the decadence.

Um, large in what way? (He says, reading his measuring tape.)
Good luck on the interview!

At least, it feels that way to me. I'm still glad that I wrote down so much about my Biodome life because it feels so good to read now.
Says the girl who's exhausted and slightly hungover. Ehhh.
